Congregational Care
(Deacons)
The NBCF
Congregational Care Ministry under the direction of
the Deacon Ministry exists to assist the Pastor
(Acts 6:2-3) in carrying out the mission of the
church (Matt 28:19-20) and to provide spiritual
leadership and support to the congregation. This
charge is provided through, but not limited to the “Sick
Visitation Ministry”, “24 Hour Prayer Intercessory
Ministry”, “Care Callers Ministry”, “Membership
Ministry”, “Pastoral Relations Ministry”, and the
Charity Ministry.
As a servant (Matt
23:11) arm of the body of Christ,
each ministry department is dedicated to being
Christ Centered in all actions as they address the
needs of the congregation, local community, and our
society at large.
