Our Star Is Rising…Lifestyle Stewardship
Capital Campaign
Our Goal is $4,000,000.00 over 3 years
Creative Ways to Contribute to Life Stewardship
Capital Campaign
Some members have come up with creative ways
to help fund their contributions to the
Lifestyle Stewardship Capital Campaign. Some
ideas for you to consider are:
Coin collections: Do you have a stash of
coins you’ve been collecting for ages? Turn them
into cash at a coinstar machine located in your
neighborhood grocery store and contribute the
proceeds to Lifestyle Stewardship.
Spring Cleaning:
Got Junk? Have a garage sale and get rid of some
of those things you don’t need! You can donate
the proceeds to Lifestyle Stewardship!
Turn Old Gold Into New Money
Faith Designs will turn your old gold jewelry
items into cash. Bring your old, broken,
unwanted gold jewelry items and you will receive
credit at market value towards your Lifestyle
Stewardship pledge for your pieces.
Stock Transfers: Instead of cashing in
that stock to fund your contribution, consider
transfer of the stock to NBCF instead. A direct
stock transfer may result in a substantial tax
savings for you (always consult with your
financial advisor).
Purchase A CD:
The NBCF Voices Of Angels Children's Choir
produced a video presentation of Martin Luther
King, Jr.’s “I Have A Dream” speech. They are
selling their DVD and donating all of the
proceeds to Lifestyle Stewardship. You can help
support their effort by purchasing a DVD in the
Rising Star Bookstore.
Remember, Lifestyle Stewardship is not about
equal giving, it’s about equal sacrifice!
What Is Lifestyle Stewardship?
“Lifestyle Capital Stewardship” is a phrase
that describes a level of giving that affects
one’s living. The challenge of Lifestyle Capital
Stewardship is to find ways, boldly and
prayerfully, to let your giving touch your
living.
