Church School will begin its annual summer
hiatus on Sunday, July 5. The last day for
regular classes will be on June 28.th. Classes
will resume in September in the New WFLC.
NBCF New Members Class lessons are
online. All member candidates must complete this
required class within 90 days of joining to be
eligible for full NBCF membership. New Members classes are also offered
on Sunday Mornings during Church School and at
the NBCF Annex on Thursday evenings.

Capital Campaign Banquet
On June 27, 2009 the Stewardship Campaign
will host a Capital Campaign Banquet. If you
know someone who might be interested in
sponsoring a table at the banquet on June 27,

(Work) one service, one Sunday a month!

American Baptist Churches, USA will hold it’s
Biennial Meeting June 25-28, 2009 in Pasadena,
CA. If you will be attending the meeting, please
let the Church Office know as there may be
opportunities to represent NBCF as a Delegate.

Summer Renewal: Vacation Bible School and The
Summer Bible Institute Are Coming!

Giving Our Best To God’s Service!
Plan now to participate in the NBCF Summer Week
Of Renewal. This week will kick-off our official
countdown to the Dedication of our new Worship &
Family Life Center in August.
Renewal ‘09 will begin on Sunday June 28,
2009 with Rev.
AB Sutton, Senior Pastor of the Sixth Avenue
Baptist Church of Birmingham, Alabama as Guest
Preacher at both the 8:30 AM and 11:00 AM
worship services. On Monday, services will move
to Damascus Baptist Church and Rev. Sutton will
bring the message at 7:30 PM nightly through
Wednesday, July 1st.
School’s Out … And It’s time for Vacation
Bible School! – Start off your summer right,
with fun for children and youth of all ages at
Vacation Bible School. The fun begins on Monday,
June 29 at 5:30 PM at Damascus Baptist Church.
Everyone is welcome to attend, so bring a
friend.
The Summer Bible Institute for Adults
will be presented by Rev. Anna Kalepo of Rainier
Ave. Free Methodist Church of Seattle. The
institute will explore ways that we can fulfill
our mission and become a more diverse
congregation. Classes will begin at 5:30 on June
29 and continue each evening until July 1st.

NBCF Feeding Ministry In
Action
Members of our Thursday Night Feeding Ministry
have been active in the community feeding
members of the ARISE program. A.R.I.S.E. (Area
of Renton Interfaith Shelter Endeavor) provides
emergency men’s shelter designed to help
homeless men of South King County move from the
streets into permanent housing. These shelters
rotate between “host” churches throughout South
King County. If you are interested in
volunteering to help with this please contact

Connection Climax
The Connections Summer Fellowship & Pot Luck
Celebration will be on Wednesday, June 17, 2009
at the Tukwila Community Center. Come out and
join all of our other “connectors” for this
final session of food and fellowship before the
summer break. Connections group meeting will
resume in the Fall.
Join one of our Wednesday in-home small ministry
groups and get connected with others.

Raising Of The Cross
On Saturday March 7, 2009 we watched as the NBCF
Worship & Family Life Center Cross was raised
for all to see! In the midst of the rain and
snow 250 people were there to witness this great
day for New Beginnings Christian Fellowship! We
also got our first peek at the 900 seat
sanctuary, the nursery & toddler center,
bookstore and coffee bar areas under
construction. Occupancy of the Worship & Family
Life Center is expected to be in May, 2009.

special closing Worship Service on our final day
at the NBCF Annex.
We will resume Thursday Night Worship Services &
Thursday Nights Homework Lab/Tutoring and
Nursery in our New Worship and Family Life

AWANA Is Coming To NBCF!
AWANA stands for “Approved Workers Are Not
Ashamed” AWANA equips churches and parents to
raise Christ-following kids for life! AWANA
helps churches and parents worldwide raise
children and youth to know, love and serve
Christ! This is done through: Fully integrated
programs for ages 2 to 18, the best evangelism
tools to reach unsaved children, youth and
families and through teaching that builds an
enduring biblical faith. AWANA Resources
bringing churches and parents together to
disciple the next generations through dynamic
fun for children, teens and adults alike!

College, Vocational School, University- please

achievement on Graduate Sunday. Please pick up

Graduate Information Form at
the Educational Empowerment Table or the
Information Station. Please return you

be on July 19th with a reception following both
services and scholarships will also be awarded

Mission Incredible: Youth Trip to Niagara
Falls, New York City & Washington, DC
In July of 2009 the New Beginnings Christian
Fellowship Youth Ministry will be visiting the
cities of Buffalo/Niagara Falls, New York City,
and Washington D.C. The purpose of the trip is
to expose our Northwest youth to some of the
great natural wonders, national monuments, and
iconic political, cultural and commercial
institutions that these cities feature. We will
also be visiting some of the most prominent and
historic churches in Buffalo, New York and
Washington,
D.C.
Our aim is to broaden our youth’s perspective of
the nation in which they live in spiritual,
cultural, political, and historical terms. For

Faith Designs: NBCF Jewelry Line
View the special line of jewelry designed and
made exclusively for NBCF. Faith Designs will
contribute a portion of each sale directly to
the NBCF Building Fund. The purchase of this
jewelry would serve the same purpose as a class

Drivers Wanted
The Transportation Ministry is calling all
CDC Licensed Drivers. If you are CDC licensed or
able to obtain this license, please contact Rev.
Ankcorn or Clarence Williams at 253-520-6673.
The new transportation request line is (425)
227.6620. The line is open 24 hours and the
cutoff time to request transportation is 5 pm
Friday evening. Please leave your name and
telephone number and someone will contact you.
This service is for the disabled, elderly, or
those who have special circumstances. We also
provide service from some college campuses.
